Diploma programs prepare you for RMT practice. Certificate tracks build foundational wellness skills. Continuing education keeps graduates current.
2450-Hour RMT Diploma
Our core Advanced Massage Therapy program. Delivered over 16 months with classroom learning, labs, and supervised clinic/field placement. Licensed through Alberta Advanced Education, so eligible students can apply for provincial and federal student loans.
- Year 1 foundations + Year 2 advanced clinical practice
- Karim's flowing full-body routine as the core of every modality
- Trauma-informed, ethics, assessment, and business training
3300 & 3950-Hour Streams
Need more clinical immersion or a broader holistic practitioner diploma? The 3300-hour co-op stream expands practicum hours. The 3950-hour Holistic Practitioner Registered Massage Diploma adds deeper integrative training while still leading to an RMT designation.
- 3300-hour RMT Co-op
- 3950-hour Holistic Practitioner RMT Diploma
- Ask admissions which stream fits your goals
Certificate Tracks
Shorter 205, 365, and 575-hour tracks for wellness massage practitioners, spa therapists, chair massage, and complementary skills. These are not RMT diploma programs, but they are a strong entry point or add-on.
- Hands-on lab instruction
- Client communication and supervised practice
- Bridging options toward diploma study
Already trained outside Canada? Bridge into a Canadian certification.
If you have massage, healthcare, or related post-secondary credits, we evaluate your transcripts and transfer eligible courses. That can mean months instead of years, and thousands less in tuition.
Recent examples include a student who finished in about 4 months for approximately $4,000, and a physician from another country who completed certification in one year for about $11,000 instead of $22,000+.
How it works
Submit the transfer form with transcripts, syllabi, and credentials before you finish your first semester. Assessments typically take 4–6 weeks. All transfer decisions are sent by email only.
Courses generally need a grade of C or higher from a recognized post-secondary institution, and must match a NAKH subject.
What Studying Massage at NAKH Looks Like
Adult-learner friendly. Average student age is about 38. Hybrid access through Microsoft Teams, plus in-person clinic training in South Edmonton.
Small Classes
Maximum 12 to 15 students so instructors can actually watch your hands, correct your flow, and know your name.
Real Clinic Hours
Practice on classmates first, then treat public clients in our supervised student clinic. Field placement is built into the diploma.
Hybrid Access
Class materials, assignments, and announcements live in Microsoft Teams 24/7. Out-of-town students can join the virtual classroom, with required campus visits for hands-on work.
Business Training
Accounting, marketing, and clinic operations are part of the diploma so graduates can work in a clinic or open their own practice.
100% Employment Rate
Graduates typically have jobs lined up before they finish. Starting wages are strong, and some alumni earn $11,000+ per month.
Family, Not a Factory
Nevin walks students through loans and contracts point by point. Instructors can change a camera system the same day a student asks. You are not a number here.
